Are you paying attention to your pension?

17 September 2025

The national ‘Pension Attention’ campaign is back again this year with Ross Kemp and Bola Sol.

The ‘Pay Your Pension Some Attention’ campaign, backed by major pension providers and supported by the UK Government returns this month encouraging Brits to spend just a few minutes checking in on their pension pots. You may remember Big Zuu, Timmy Mallet and Gemma Collins as the faces of the campaign, and this year, TV star Ross Kemp and pension trainer, Bola Sol join the line up as the latest advocates bringing a fitness-themed approach.

With new research indicating that over the last 12 months, 37% of Brits have made a healthy lifestyle change, like changing their diet or improving their sleep, only 29% have organised their finances for later life. The Minister for Pensions, Torsten Bell said that “Most people check their fitness apps more than their pension balance, but both are important for a healthy future. I encourage everyone to take a few minutes out of their day to check their pension and plan for their retirement”.

And so, the message is simple: Don’t sweat about the future. Planning for retirement now could lead to some serious gains… pension gains.

Have a think about these three simple steps:

  • Stretch your mind back to any past employers or pensions.
  • Check your form by logging into your pension accounts to see how much you’ve got.
  • Work out how much you might need for your future.

Doing this today can help you look forward to your future with confidence.
